Rael is Rajak's younger brother and probably the most powerful member of the Kertia clan, though he's not the leader. He's got the classic Noble look—pale, skinny, conventionally attractive—but what matters is what he can do in a fight. His father handed him an imperfect soul weapon called Grandia, which manifests as a pair of daggers.
The thing about Rael is he's genuinely skilled. His speed and combat ability are exceptional, and he carries himself with the confidence to match. But that's also his biggest problem. He gets emotional during fights and makes sloppy decisions because of it. More importantly, he's arrogant—the kind of guy who'll lose to someone and then turn around and underestimate them anyway. Fans often note this as a glaring flaw in an otherwise formidable fighter.
He also has a serious disdain for humans. Like, he actively has to hold himself back from killing them. It's not casual prejudice; it's something he visibly struggles with.
He can create multiple copies of himself, up to three or four at a time. His brother Rajak can do the same thing, but way more effectively—Rajak's capable of making significantly more clones, which gives him a real edge there.
