Rena's the main character of the story, and she's been raised by Westa ever since being found as a kid. What sets her apart is pretty obvious to her—she's got some kind of mysterious healing ability that she can't quite explain. When Crawd shows up, she's convinced he's the Hero of the Light, destined to save Expel from the Sorcery Globe. That conviction is what pushes her to tag along with him, hoping the journey will help her figure out where she actually came from and what's really going on with her powers.
