Panput is a Muay Thai fighter and movie star best known for facing Goku in the first round of the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament. Master Roshi, disguised as Jackie Chun, dubbed him "The Unstoppable Fighter."
Panput had already won two major martial arts tournaments worldwide and came to the 22nd Tournament expecting to claim his third title. He's remembered mainly for his cocky attitude—Tien Shinhan dismissed him as "too cocky" before his match even started.
His fight with Goku didn't last long. Panput made a showy entrance and threw a punch, then asked if it was fast enough for Goku to even see. When Goku said it wasn't much of a punch, Panput tried to prove himself by smashing an arena wall with an elbow strike. But the moment he attacked Goku again, Goku landed a quick three-hit combo to his chest that knocked him completely out. The announcer was shocked at what looked like a single-punch KO.
During the King Piccolo Saga, Panput was killed by Tambourine with a single kick to the face while fighting in a kickboxing match. Tambourine showed up mid-fight, announced his intentions, and delivered the fatal blow. Panput was eventually brought back to life along with the other victims when the Dragon Balls were used to reverse King Piccolo's killings.
