Nayuki is Yuichi's cousin who moves in with him at the start of the story. She's been in love with him for years—and yes, first-cousin relationships are legal and socially normal in Japan—so she has to navigate those feelings while watching him potentially fall for other girls around them.
She's notorious for being an impossibly heavy sleeper. Her solution? Buy dozens of alarm clocks. The problem? They don't wake her up, just Yuichi every morning.
