Amamiya shows up as a supporting character in Citrus. He was a teacher at Aihara Academy and had been engaged to Mei, but got fired after Yuzu exposed his unwanted sexual behavior toward her. That pretty much sums up his role in the story—he's the obstacle that forces things to come to a head early on.
