Minato Narumiya is obsessed with archery. He got into it after watching a competition with his mom as a kid—he was totally hooked from that moment on. Things got rough after a disappointing tournament in middle school that pretty much tanked his confidence, but he bounced back once he decided to actually commit to the sport again and face his stuff head-on. That's when his old energetic side came roaring back.
Meeting Kaito, who can't stand him, actually pushed Minato to be more direct and honest about who he is. Fans often note he's surprisingly wild underneath his archer exterior.
