Inami is a shy 17-year-old who works at Wagnaria alongside the rest of the staff. She has severe androphobia—basically, she's terrified of men and will punch pretty much any guy who gets too close. Her fear isn't rational; she genuinely believes every man is a threat and acts on that conviction violently, even though she's usually the one doing the attacking.
The root of this is her father, who deliberately scared her into fearing men because he didn't want her to get married. That messed-up parenting stuck with her. Since she and Souta often work the same shifts, he's become her favorite punching bag—which, weirdly, has actually helped. She's made real progress; she can now stand about two meters away from guys without needing to throw a punch. She's even managed to have semi-normal conversations with men, though Souta tends to ruin the mood by being a jerk. Or she just decks him anyway. The progress is real but inconsistent.
