Yuriko is MILLION STARS' resident bookworm—the kind of girl who genuinely loves reading and gets lost in whatever genre catches her interest, from Bradbury and Dazai to Tolkien and Poe. Fantasy and mystery are her go-tos, though she'll dive into anything if it hooks her. The thing is, she daydreams constantly about the magical worlds in those books, blurring them into her everyday life.
She's not a natural dancer, but she tries hard anyway. During the Otome Storm event, it became clear just how determined she is—she was struggling with the choreography but kept practicing on her own time, worried about dragging her unit down. She's also interested in acting, though she hasn't actually been in a play yet.
Around strangers, Yuriko's pretty quiet and reserved. But get her talking about books or anything that sparks her (admittedly wild) imagination, and she completely lights up. She'll talk your ear off, which is kind of notorious at her local library, where she's earned the nickname "Wild Express Train of the Library"—mostly because she once turned in a 100+ page book review as homework that was longer than the actual book.
Her love of fantasy runs so deep that she constantly imagines herself as the protagonist of whatever she's reading. Her friends call her a chuunibyou for it, and once she gets close to the Producer, he basically starts replacing every protagonist in her mental book collection. She's livelier on stage than in person, and she's also a gamer with her in-game name being "lillyknight"—she and her friend Anna Mochizuki bond over MMORPGs, where Yuriko usually plays a support role while Anna tanks or deals damage.
Her dream as an idol is to become someone who moves people the same way great books do: timeless enough to touch hearts decades or even centuries down the line.
