A frog who got crushed by Hiroshi—yeah, that actually happened. Instead of staying dead like a normal frog, his spirit stuck around and became a talking frog that lives on Hiroshi's shirt, turning him into a Flat Surface Frog. Since that shirt happens to be Hiroshi's only decent one, the frog's basically stuck traveling everywhere with him whether he likes it or not.
The two of them are pretty much matched in stubbornness and appetite, which means they're constantly bickering like siblings. Despite being literally attached to a guy's clothing, the frog's got enough energy to jump around and drag Hiroshi along on his adventures, usually against Hiroshi's will.
