Pit is a young angel from Angel Land, best known for his role as Palutena's devoted servant and protector. He's fearless and quick to charge into danger, though he's noticeably more confident when working with Palutena than on his own. Despite his heroic nature, he's got a cheerful, chipper personality that keeps things light even in serious situations.
Without his Wings of Icarus, Pit's flying ability is pretty limited—he can only manage short bursts of flight. This handicap actually makes his accomplishments more impressive. When Medusa, a dark goddess, attacked Skyworld and imprisoned Palutena, Pit didn't hesitate. He set out across the Underworld, Overworld, and Skyworld to collect the Three Sacred Treasures: the Arrow of Light, the Mirror Shield, and the Wings of Pegasus. Once he'd gathered them all, he was able to take Medusa down and end her reign of terror over Angel Land.
