A self-proclaimed genius, Amiba trained under Rofu in Nanto Suicho Ken but never made the cut as successor. He then became obsessed with Hokuto Shin Ken. When Toki refused to teach him, Amiba started experimenting on his own—and nearly killed an old man in the process. Toki called him out for it, and that's when Amiba decided both Toki and the Village of Miracles had to pay.
Amiba's big break came when he teamed up with Jagi, who helped transform him into a Toki lookalike. Jagi even scarred his back with a club to match Toki's scar perfectly. With a crash course in Hokuto Shin Ken techniques from Jagi under his belt, Amiba managed to pull off the impersonation convincingly enough. While the real Toki rotted in Cassandra, the fake one ran wild—torturing civilians and fighters alike with brutal, sadistic experiments on pressure points, which he'd report back to Raoh.
He boasted constantly that he could master any martial art in record time. In Ten no Haoh, he develops his own knockoff style based on Hokuto Shinken and names it Hokuda Shin Ken—the Needle Fist of the North Snake.
