He's basically obsessed with Arisa—constantly joking that she'll be his wife someday and treating her like a mix between a little sister and his favorite person in the world. The problem is he doesn't really read the room. His enthusiastic hugs and affectionate gestures annoy her way more than they charm her, so he's always getting smacked for his trouble. He doesn't mind though; he just laughs it off and comes back for more.
In the story, he shows up as Round, a clingy, perpetually sleepy Dormouse who's basically interested in two things: napping and hanging out with Arisa. And honestly, he spends most of his time doing at least one of those.
