Android #13
Android #13 is one of Dr. Gero's creations, designed alongside Androids #14 and #15 with a single purpose: kill Goku. He stands out visually for his redneck appearance and demeanor, which is especially pronounced in the English dub.
What makes #13 memorable is his ability to absorb components from other androids. After taking parts from the defeated #14 and #15, he undergoes a transformation into Super Android #13—a far more formidable version of himself. This powered-up form proved strong enough to give even a Super Saiyan Goku serious trouble, though ultimately he fell to Goku powered by a Spirit Bomb.
The manga treats #13 almost as an afterthought. It mentions only that he was created but quickly deemed a failure and destroyed. However, there's reason to believe this might not be the whole story. Since Dr. Gero's computer was actively building androids while #17 and #18 were operational, it seems plausible that #13 wasn't completely obliterated but rather stored away—possibly kept as a contingency plan if the primary androids failed.
