Anina Faisal is an original character from the Eat-Man anime and she appears in the 3rd episode "Room of Promises". Anina is the young heiress to her late grandfather's lands, and the current owner of the mysterious "Hotel Promise". At the entrance to the Hotel, Anina leaves a painting on display for all visitors, which is a self-portrait of her grandmother done in the modernist style, and which has the bizarre power of hypnotizing all those who enter the place. With this, Anina uses the painting to increase her family's wealth, turning all the adventurers and mercenaries who come to the hotel in search of the painting into her employees and attracting guests.
Anina has not yet inherited her grandfather's entire fortune, because the condition he imposed for this to happen is that she needs to marry a real adventurer, as he was saved by one when he was still young and believes that someone who performs the role can also protect his granddaughter. She tries to convince Bolt to marry her, not for the inheritance, but because she has truly fallen in love with him and no longer wants to live alone. After Bolt refuses the offer and leaves the place, he turns against Ramon d'Soriet and soon destroys the painting, thus ending the curse of the Hotel Promise.
At the end of the episode, it is implied that the woman in the painting is in fact Anina, and that perhaps she too passed away a long time ago while waiting for a real adventurer to appear and fulfill her grandfather's last wishes. She probably died alone, and her soul was sealed in the painting, cursing those who entered the hotel.
