Iria is one of Quatre's twenty-nine older sisters, all test-tube babies like him. She works as a doctor on a Winner Corporation mining satellite, which is where she was stationed when Quatre came back to space. She looked after him during that time and eventually arranged for him to return to their father, Zayeed.
Things went south when OZ attacked Zayeed's position. During the chaos, their shuttle got hit and thrown off course, and Iria took a blow to the head that left her unconscious.
