Daidouji is a legendary senior at Hanzou Academy—the kind of figure that newer students probably hear about before they even enroll. She's intentionally stayed behind, choosing not to graduate even after passing her finals, all because of a self-imposed vow: she won't leave until she's beaten Rin in combat. Originally two years Rin's junior, she's made this rivalry the driving force of her time at the academy. She's rarely seen without her black cat in tow, which has become as much a part of her reputation as her stubborn refusal to move on.
