A pitcher with an inflated sense of his own importance. He's got a decent curveball in his arsenal, but honestly, nobody on the main cast sees him as any real threat—he's pretty forgettable, the kind of guy who fades into the background. Despite that, he's got this one-sided rivalry thing going on with Akio Nitta, treating him like his arch-nemesis when Nitta probably doesn't even think about him much. The guy definitely overestimates where he stands in the bigger picture, but he's convinced himself Nitta's his only real competition.
