Lindsey is a character from "An Undersea Place to Call Home!" She works as an underwater archaeologist alongside her husband Eddy.
The couple encountered Ash and his friends while sailing near the Muraille Coast. When Pikachu got poisoned by a Skrelp, Lindsey quickly treated it with an Antidote from her first-aid kit. She and Eddy were headed out that day to search for the wreckage of the S.S. Cussler, a ship that had sunk after hitting an iceberg years ago. Impressed by the group's interest, they invited everyone to tag along on the dive.
During the expedition, Lindsey piloted a submarine with Ash and Serena aboard. Strong currents swept them around, but the situation led them straight to the S.S. Cussler's remains—where they also ran into Team Rocket, who were hunting for treasure inside the wreck. When Team Rocket grabbed the ship's safe and bolted, the resulting disturbance caused the whole structure to start flooding. Lindsey, Ash, and Serena barely made it out, then helped the Water Pokémon living there seal off the ship with a metal plate to prevent total collapse.
The submarine avoided getting caught in the whirlpools that followed, sending Team Rocket flying instead. The stolen safe sank back to the ocean floor. By the end of it all, Lindsey had developed real respect for the Pokémon that made the sunken ship their home.
