McGinty first showed up in The Cave of Trials! as a minor recurring character. He's basically the guy who runs the photo studio over in Geosenge Town, and he's pretty close with Gurkinn. That's kind of his whole deal—he's there when the story needs him, helping out with photography stuff and hanging around town.
