Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's
Jack's the "Absolute King of the Riding Duel"—or at least he'll tell you that himself. He used to be tight with Yusei, but that friendship went up in smoke when Jack made a calculated decision: steal Yusei's Stardust Dragon, take his D-Wheel, and bail to Neo Domino City. Yeah, he's got issues. Arrogant, overconfident, the kind of guy who needs to prove he's the best—but underneath all that swagger, there's actually a conscience fighting to get out. The thing is, he's got a secret he can't let Neo Domino know about: he came from Satellite, the slum everyone looks down on.
His deck runs on Resonators and swarm tactics, pumping out weaker monsters just fast enough to Tune them into his ace card, Red Daemon's Dragon. It's efficient and it's flashy, which honestly suits him fine. He's one of the five Signers, marked by the Crimson Dragon's Wings, meaning he's one of the chosen ones according to the People of the Stars. Heavy stuff, even if Jack would never admit he cares about destiny.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V
Here, Jack's the Duel King—someone who clawed his way up from the Commons through pure skill and won the Friendship Cup, which earned him a spot in the Tops where the elite live. His personality hasn't changed much; he's still confident, still believes his raw power speaks for itself. The difference is his arrogance here feels more deliberate, shaped by hanging around the snobby Tops crowd. He also fancies himself an Entertainer, but his whole philosophy is the opposite of Yuya's. Jack thinks real Entertainment Dueling is about demonstrating overwhelming strength and leaving the crowd in awe. Yuya's flashy tricks and spectacle? Jack sees that as just stroking his own ego.
