Ilari
Ilari started out as a wide-eyed rookie adventurer, fresh gear and fresh dreams. She'd picked up a set of new leather armor and genuinely believed she was headed for the top—the kind of naive optimism you see in a lot of newbies who haven't hit their first real wall yet. She wasn't entirely clueless, but she definitely had that starry-eyed thing going on where she figured ambition and decent equipment were most of what it took to make it big.
Things didn't exactly go according to plan.
Over time, something shifted. By the end of her story (or at least the part that matters), Ilari had essentially become a slave without a will of her own—stripped of agency, stripped of choice. It's a pretty dark turn from where she started, and a stark reminder that the adventuring life isn't always the glorious climb upward that rookies imagine it'll be.
