Hoshi teaches Japanese at Narimori Girls' High School, where he's the homeroom teacher for class 2-4. He's usually stationed next to Kobayashi-sensei in the staff room. The guy's pretty recognizable—glasses, always in a stand-up collar shirt. Back in college he was into the Manga Research Club, which tracks with his general vibe.
He's married with a young daughter at home. There's a pretty stark difference in how he comes across depending on whether he's had a drink or two; sober Hoshi is basically stone-faced, but get some alcohol in him and he turns into this laughing guy. It's almost like flipping a switch.
