Armor King II's background remains largely unknown. He and his older brother formed a wrestling tag team together, both wearing identical outfits and sharing the name—though his brother kept this arrangement hidden from him while training him to eventually take over as the next Armor King. The reasoning behind this secrecy has never been explained.
Everything changed after the third King of Iron Fist Tournament, when the original Armor King was killed by Craig Marduk in a bar fight in Arizona. This tragedy left King II with a burning hatred for Marduk. He entered the fourth tournament to avenge his fallen mentor, but ultimately chose forgiveness and even befriended Marduk instead. This decision infuriated Armor King II, who then threw himself into the fifth tournament specifically to settle the score. He got his revenge, finally defeating Marduk in their tournament match.
