Hideo was a resident of Kimon Vale who got caught up in a forbidden romance with Toyomi from neighboring Kimon Glen. The two were secretly dating and planned to run away together, but their relationship was discovered. When it came to light, Hideo was brutally beaten. Unable to bear the separation and shame, he and Toyomi died by suicide together. After their deaths, their ghosts reportedly began haunting the residents of the valley.
