The Guardian Deity
The Guardian Deity is one of the main characters in Oda's one-shot manga Ikki Yako.
He's best known for wearing a creepy mask that he'd put on whenever he felt like messing with the local villagers—basically scaring them for entertainment. Despite his prank-like behavior, he wasn't actually the dangerous attacker everyone was worried about. Turns out he was just bored.
The Guardian knew Guko's master Koshin and had his back. When things got serious and Guko needed to take down Hitokui, the Guardian handed over his sword so Guko could finish the job.
