Nanami works at the same convenience store as Kaede and has actually been there longer, which is why Kaede calls her "senpai." She's a junior in college and still lives with her parents. When she first met Kaede—who's a gyaru—she found the whole aesthetic pretty intimidating, though she's gotten used to it since. The two have been working together for about a year now.
