Dot's basically impossible to ignore. He's constantly going on about how he's the protagonist of his own story and that everyone around him is basically just background characters. It's his whole thing. He falls head over heels pretty much constantly—like, way more often than he'd probably admit he wants to—but somehow he's also the type to get irritated by the people closest to him. That said, there's clearly more going on beneath the surface. He actually cares about his friends way more than he lets on. Case in point: he gets genuinely bent out of shape whenever someone talks trash about Mash.
