Towa Higurashi
Towa is the main character of Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon and Sesshoumaru's eldest daughter. She's got an older twin sister, Setsuna, though the two grew up worlds apart—literally.
When Towa was four, she got yanked from the feudal era into modern-day Japan through some combination of the Tree of Ages and the Bone Eater's Well. She ended up in the care of the Higurashi family, specifically her half-uncle-in-law Souta, who raised her for the next decade. By the time she reconnects with Setsuna, she's basically a modern girl thrust back into a world of demons and swords. She fights with the Kikujuumonji, a weapon that suits her half-demon heritage.
