Udberg Eldol is an elderly man who took up dancing to preserve the Kita-Kita, a traditional dance that's normally performed by women. With no girls left in his village to carry on the tradition, he became its sole keeper—and the target of widespread ridicule in the process. People find his performances off-putting and annoying, and he's faced considerable abuse for it. But Eldol is remarkably stubborn and resilient. No matter how much punishment he endures, he keeps coming back to dance, driven by a genuine desire to pass the tradition on to the next generation before it disappears entirely.
