Claude "Torch" Weaver is a heavyset, middle-aged guy with blonde hair and glasses who always seems to be grinning—basically the definition of an everyman. True to his nickname, he's a pyromaniac who favors a lighter-sized flamethrower as his go-to weapon, though he'll break out a full-sized one when the job demands it.
What's striking about Torch is how at odds his personality is with his line of work. He claims to be religious (the specific faith is unclear) and doesn't drink, making him something of an oddball in his circle. He's also one of the few who avoids swearing entirely, opting instead for euphemisms like "darn" or "shucks."
The most disturbing aspect of his character is that he murdered his own wife by burning her alive—an act he's casual about, claiming it took five minutes. Despite this, he maintains his cheerful demeanor and clean-cut persona.
