Pantyhose Taro is an 18-20 year old martial artist cursed with one of the strangest transformations in the entire series. When he was born, Happosai—in a surprisingly good mood at the time—helped deliver him and then baptized him in the Spring of the Drowned Yeti Holding an Eel and Crane while Riding an Ox. Since the baptiser traditionally names the child in his society, Happosai stuck him with the name "Pantyhose," apparently thinking everyone would find it hilarious. Taro has never quite forgiven him for it.
The curse itself is a nightmare chimera: he transforms into a creature that's part yeti, part bull, part crane, and part eel. Rather than resent it, Taro actually loves the power it gives him. He's even gone back to Jusenkyo voluntarily to pick up an octopus curse, specifically so he could add tentacles to his back and become even more formidable.
Personality-wise, he's cold, ruthless, and genuinely sadistic. His entire motivation boils down to two things: capturing Happosai and forcing him to rename him. Beyond that, he's fairly single-minded about it. His godfather and mother are his known relatives, though neither seems to factor much into his current goals.
