He's genuinely one of the best swordsmen around—when he's had something to eat. The moment hunger kicks in, he basically falls apart. His strength tanks completely and he can barely hold his weapon up. It's kind of embarrassing for someone at his level, but it's just how he is.
There's also this weird habit he has where he'll spot a flying insect and just. start slashing at it with his sword. The problem is he has terrible aim and usually ends up destroying whatever's around him instead. Not ideal in a training environment.
His student Kingo trains under him and tends to stick around during school breaks.
