Ao served as both the blue dragon and caretaker of Shin-ah before the current generation. He's best known for his bitterness—and honestly, you can understand why. Despite repeatedly saving his village, the people there feared and rejected him because of the cursed power dwelling in his eyes. That kind of constant rejection wore him down. Over time, Ao became increasingly bitter about his role, resenting both his curse and the villagers who benefited from his protection yet treated him like a monster.
