Tooru's the soft-spoken, kindhearted guy from Team Otori who Yuuta first met at the entrance ceremony. Turns out they ended up as roommates, which was a surprise to both of them. He didn't actually plan on joining the music department—he only auditioned because Yuuta pushed him into it—but he genuinely fell in love with performing once he got started. The catch is he deals with pretty bad stage fright, though there's a workaround: a special tea brewed by the Nayuki family basically works like a charm to calm his nerves before he performs.
