Sophie is a red-haired teen living at the Katrina Home whose life took a sharp turn when her brother went missing—a disappearance tied to something called El Dorado. While digging for answers about what happened to him, she stumbled into a Horror and nearly didn't make it out. Sword saved her that night, and it turned out he was chasing the same El Dorado lead.
Since then, she's basically become Sword's partner in hunting Horrors. Her real strength is her tech skills—she handles research and intel work while Sword does the heavy lifting in actual combat. The two make a solid team, though Sophie's pulled into something bigger than she expected. The King of El Dorado apparently has his eye on her for reasons nobody's spelled out yet, which raises the stakes considerably. Whatever his plans are for her, they're important enough to keep wanting her around.
