Mizuki Hijiri is a high school transfer student who stumbles into a group of guys who are pretty deep in their chuunibyou phase. There's Noda, who's convinced he's going to be a hero. Then you've got Takashima, an attractive otaku who's way more interested in 2D girls than real ones. Nakamura claims to be a reincarnated angel or demon—depending on the day, probably. And finally there's Tsukumo, who insists he's secretly pulling all the strings behind the scenes. Naturally, Mizuki gets caught up in their delusions.
