Synopsis

Nanako Yukishiro is your typical cute, cheerful high school girl—except she doesn't talk. Instead, she communicates entirely through senryuu, a poetic form that follows a 5-7-5 syllable structure. Her friend group is pretty colorful. There's Eiji Busujima, a reformed delinquent who gets misunderstood a lot. Amane Katagiri is the student council president with a creepy stalker streak and no luck in romance. Kino Yakobe is a shy artist who somehow never stops talking. Then there's the enigmatic Tao Hanakai, and Koto Ootsuki, who insists she's Eiji's big sister. Surrounded by this weird bunch, Nanako's high school days are turning out to be pretty great.
