Nick's life is basically in ruins. He's lost everything—his adventuring party booted him out despite years of loyal service, his girlfriend left him, and his former teammates accused him of stealing from the group. Desperate and beat down, he stumbles into a bar where he meets a few other misfits in equally bad shape. Turns out they're all sick of the same corrupt world that chewed them up and spat them out. So naturally, these jaded adventurers band together and decide to change things. Somehow, this ragtag group of failures becomes something pretty formidable.
