Tomoya Aki is a hardcore otaku who never thought he'd develop feelings for someone in real life—until a chance encounter during spring break with a mysterious girl changes everything. Enchanted by the moment, he becomes obsessed with recreating that magical feeling and decides the best way to do it is by making a bishoujo game. By the time second year starts, though, he's made basically zero progress. Things get weird fast when he discovers the girl from his daydream is actually Megumi Katou, an ordinary classmate he'd never noticed before. Undeterred, Tomoya somehow convinces Megumi to help him out and then recruits his childhood friend Eriri Spencer Sawamura and senior Utaha Kasumigaoka to join the project. What he doesn't realize is that making a game with your friends is way harder than it sounds, and things quickly get messy.
