Summer Ghost
Three teenagers—Aoi, Tomoya, and Ryou—team up to track down the Summer Ghost, an urban legend about a black-haired woman in dark clothes who supposedly appears at an abandoned airfield when fireworks go off. Each of them is dealing with serious stuff. Aoi's being relentlessly bullied and doesn't see much point in sticking around. Tomoya's parents won't let him pursue his creative interests because they're worried it'll tank his grades. Ryou quit the basketball team he loved because of pressure he felt. They're all carrying a lot. They're drawn to this ghost for different reasons, but there's clearly something that connects the three of them beyond just chasing an urban legend. As summer winds down, they start to wonder if maybe the Summer Ghost can give them answers—or at least some clarity about the darker questions they've all been wrestling with.
