Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest

When a magical circle suddenly opens up at school, Hajime Nagumo and his classmates get transported to a church in the fantasy world of Tortus. They're greeted warmly and informed that each student has been granted a unique class with impressive stats—except Hajime. He gets stuck with "Synergist," a class that's basically mediocre at everything and terrible at actual combat. Naturally, he becomes the laughingstock of the group pretty quick. The class heads into a dungeon to level up, but things go sideways fast. They end up cornered by a massive demon on a bridge hanging over an abyss with nowhere to go but forward. Hajime decides to play bait so everyone else can escape. He's banking on making it out himself too, but a stray fireball catches him mid-run and sends him tumbling off the bridge into the darkness below. Against all odds, he survives the fall. Now stranded in the depths of the dungeon, Hajime has to claw his way back to the surface—and figure out how to become strong enough to survive in this world that's already written him off as useless.
