Synopsis

Lupin III is an international thief and master of his craft, following in his family's tradition of high-stakes heists—though unlike his criminal ancestors, he's got some standards. He mostly targets people who deserve it, which sets him apart from your average crook. His crew is a mix of talented and dangerous. Daisuke Jigen is a former hitman with a quiet, no-nonsense attitude and a black fedora he keeps pulled low. Goemon Ishikawa is a swordsman straight out of another era, popping in and out of Lupin's schemes whenever he feels like it. Then there's Fujiko Mine—a fellow thief who's also the love of Lupin's life, which creates constant friction since they're always competing over the same scores. The law is constantly on their tail, particularly Interpol and Inspector Zenigata, who takes the chase personally. The dynamic between Zenigata and Lupin is weird—they respect each other but can't stand each other either. They've actually teamed up when circumstances demanded it, but both know that once the crisis passes, they're right back to being enemies. It's a complicated relationship that keeps things interesting.
