Synopsis

In the world of Earth Land, magic is everywhere—it powers transportation, runs utilities, and is basically just part of everyday life. But with that power comes danger. Dark mages and evil forces are always a threat, so the Kingdom of Fiore has a whole system of magical guilds to keep things in check. These guilds are run by guild masters and filled with wizards and witches who take on jobs for money and reputation. Fairy Tail is the most famous and powerful guild around. Natsu Dragneel is a hot-headed dragon slayer searching for his foster father, Igneel. While traveling with his cat companion Happy, he meets Lucy Heartfilia, a celestial mage who's desperate to join Fairy Tail and become a real wizard. After Natsu saves her from kidnappers, he brings her into the guild. Lucy quickly bonds with Natsu and two other guild members—Gray Fullbuster and Erza Scarlet, a no-nonsense fighter known as "Titania." The four of them become an inseparable team, taking on increasingly dangerous jobs and making both powerful allies and serious enemies along the way.
