You're the Bride I've Been Searching for All This Time A Japanese-style take on Cinderella with ayakashi (supernatural spirits). In this world, ayakashi and humans live together peacefully. Because ayakashi are stronger and more beautiful than humans, they sometimes choose human women as their "brides." In return for bringing good fortune to their chosen bride, the ayakashi loves them completely and unconditionally. Yuzu's life has been miserable. Her sister married an ayakashi—a demon fox specifically—and now her entire family treats Yuzu like she doesn't matter, constantly throwing the comparison in her face. When she finally hits her breaking point, a gorgeous man appears out of nowhere on a bridge. He's the most beautiful person she's ever seen, and he's claiming she's his wife. Turns out he's one of the most powerful ayakashi around, known for being cold and distant. But with Yuzu? He's completely different, pouring all his emotions into her. "Just stay quiet and let me hold you," he tells her—and he means it.
