Synopsis

Mameda's a tanuki stuck in the wrong time period. All she really wants to do is pull pranks and cast illusions on humans—classic tanuki stuff—but honestly, those days are long gone. Then she meets Bunko, a rakugo storyteller, and everything clicks. Bunko shows her that you can still enchant people, just not through magic tricks. Words are the real magic. So now Mameda's set on becoming Bunko's apprentice, assuming she can actually convince the serious old master to take her on in the first place.
