In 1999, Jotaro Kujo shows up in the small town of Morioh with a mission: track down his illegitimate uncle Jousuke Higashikata and investigate a potentially dangerous Stand user. He finds Jousuke right away, but there's a catch—the guy's just a high school kid, and he's got his own Stand called Crazy Diamond. It doesn't take long for them to stumble onto something way bigger: someone's been using a supernatural bow and arrow to create Stand users all over town. Jousuke takes it personally and decides he's going to stop whoever's behind it before things get worse. As he digs deeper, he discovers that the Stands people develop are basically reflections of who they are—their desires, their ambitions—and that can make them either dangerous or useful allies.
