In the MMORPG Union, there was a legendary party called Subaru made up of childhood friends and kids who somehow managed to break the game's limits. But after a tragedy involving someone's death, Union shut down for good and the group scattered. Six years pass. Now in high school, Haruto logs into the successor game Reunion and runs into Asahi—his childhood friend and former Subaru member who supposedly died back then. Except she's right there in front of him. So what's going on? Is she some kind of digital ghost, or something else entirely?
