Haruka Haruno is a student at the prestigious Noble Academy who's always dreamed of becoming a princess. Her life changes when she meets Pafu and Aroma, two fairy creatures from the Hope Kingdom—and they're being chased by monsters sent by Dyspear, a villain determined to steal away people's dreams and lock them in the Gate of Desperation. The fairies hand Haruka a Princess Perfume, transforming her into Cure Flora. Two other girls soon join the fight: Minami Kaidou becomes Cure Mermaid and Kirara Amanogawa becomes Cure Twinkle. Together, they form the Princess PreCure Team, tasked with collecting Dress-Up Keys to open the Gate of Dreams while battling Dys Dark's monsters and protecting everyone's dreams from being stolen.
