Synopsis

Haruto dies before he can reunite with his childhood friend who vanished five years earlier. Rio, a slum kid driven by the need to avenge his mother's murder, has a completely different life. Somehow, Haruto's memories and personality end up transferred into Rio's body, and the two consciousnesses merge as Rio decides to adapt to this strange new world. Along with Haruto's memories comes a mysterious power that Rio can apparently use to improve his circumstances. But first, he stumbles into a kidnapping involving two princesses of the Bertram Kingdom. After rescuing them, Rio earns a scholarship to the Royal Academy—an elite school for the wealthy and privileged. Being a poor orphan surrounded by nobles turns out to be absolutely miserable.
