Synopsis

Kazuya, a heartbroken college student, turns to a rental girlfriend app to fill the void left by his ex. He matches with Chizuru Mizuhara, who seems perfect—beautiful, sweet, and attentive. But after reading mixed reviews on her profile and still raw from his breakup, Kazuya suspects she's just manipulating guys and leaves her a bad rating. Chizuru's pissed. She confronts him and drops the act, revealing her real personality: sharp-tongued and temperamental, nothing like the caring girl he met. Right then, Kazuya gets a call that his grandmother has collapsed. He panics and drags Chizuru to the hospital with him. The scare turns out to be minor, but his grandmother is thrilled—she's been dying to see Kazuya in a real relationship. Stuck between the truth and his grandmother's happiness, Kazuya and Chizuru end up pretending to be an actual couple.
